Work expenses reimbursements
Did you spend some of your hard-earned cash on behalf of Significa? Here’s how to get your money back!
Reimbursable expenses.
You can request to be reimbursed for all expenses related to your work.
This includes software, hardware, representation expenses, travel, and whichever expense you've taken on behalf of Significa. Don’t forget, as per Perks and benefits, your public transport pass can be reimbursed with your salary monthly.
This being said, we expect you to use proper discretion regarding an appropriate expense. We trust you, but if you have any doubts, ask our Business Manager, Catarina.
Request the V.A.T. number on your invoice.
The most appropriate way to get reimbursed is to get a proper receipt with Significa's V.A.T. number. This is important: please always make sure to do this.

Foreign expenses.
When travelling abroad, it most likely won't be possible to get a V.A.T. number on your invoices. Worry not, it isn’t needed.
With this, make sure you either keep the receipts or take a photo of it. Once you're back, or when you see fit, give or email it to Catarina.

No V.A.T. number expenses.
In the event of expenses where it is not possible to get a VAT number, or, let’s face it, you just forgot (shame on you), we won’t leave you high and dry having to foot the bill.
Keep the receipt anyway and follow the same approach as for foreign expenses above.
No receipt?
No reimbursement. Too bad.
Reimbursement timeframe.
Reimbursements may be made immediately, depending on the value you are due. It will never take longer than 2 weeks and should be paid within the next payment cycle.
If it’s after the first payment cycle of the month, then expect it to be reimbursed with your next salary. For more details, check out Policy on pay.
